STEP 1: Test your wall outlet with the included Outlet Checker to ensure it's grounded.
GROUNDED = Two amber lights illuminated. You are ready to move on to step 2.
NOT GROUNDED = Any other light combination. If this is the case, try testing other outlets. If none of them are grounded, then you will need to purchase a Ground Rod to use with your product.

STEP 2: Push the included Safety Adapter into your grounded wall outlet or into the surge protector that's plugged into the grounded wall outlet.

STEP 3: Firmly push one end of the Coil Cord into the Safety Adapter. Snap the other end of the Coil Cord onto the connector tab of Earthing® product.

STEP 4: Touch your Earthing® product and you're grounded! For optimal effectiveness we recommend direct skin contact or wearing one thin layer of natural material for clothing, such as cotton or bamboo.

The Earthing Universal Mat is our most versatile grounding product and a
customer favorite! If you're looking for one grounding product that can
do it all, you've found it. The Earthing Universal Mat can be used
anywhere you go. Here are some ideas for how to ground yourself use it:

- Drape it over the arm of your couch/chair or over the back of your couch/chair and lean against it.
- Place it on your couch/chair and sit on it.
- Place it in front of your couch/chair and put your feet on it.
- Put it in front of the kitchen sink and stand on it while you wash the dishes.
- Place it in front of the kitchen counter or island to stand on while you food prep.
- Put one in your bathroom in front of the sink so you can stand on it while you get ready for your day, or in front of the toilet to place your feet on.
- Exercise on it.
- Take it to work or set it up in your home office on the floor under your desk or on your desk to rest your hands on while you type.
- Sleep on it either under your feet, legs, back, or shoulders.

Earthing Patches can be used anywhere you stretch, work out, sit, relax, or sleep for targeted grounding.

Apply
the Earthing Patches to acute spots on your body to immediately bring
the Earth's electrons there. If you're not targeting a specific spot,
then we recommend applying the Patches to either the palms of your hands
or bottom of your feet as these are the most conductive points on the
body.

Please Note: The Patches are meant for one-time use.
Although the adhesive may last through several applications, the gel in
the center may not be in contact with the skin after the first use and
this is necessary for grounding.

Carbon, the second most abundant element in the human body, effortlessly conducts the Earth's electrons. The grounded Universal Mat is 100% conductive, easy to clean, and very durable.

Easy Cleaning: Simply clean with a little soap and water on a cloth, then wipe clean with plain water and allow to dry naturally.Wipe down regularly to ensure good conductivity and to avoid the build up of skin oils.

DO's:
Wipe down the mat using a non-corrosive cleaner, like dish soap, and water on a damp sponge and air dry.

DONT'S:
Do not use chlorine or bleach.
Do not apply lotion, creams, or body oil to your skin before touching the Sleep Mat or Pillow Cover. These can oxidize and damage conductivity.
